CALGARY, AB — February 25, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Decibel Cannabis Company Inc. has entered into a conditional sale agreement to sell its property in Creston, British Columbia, and consolidate its cannabis cultivation facility located there.
The sale price for the property will be approximately $2,500,000. The company intends to use all proceeds to repay a portion of its recently announced term debt.
In conjunction with the property sale, Decibel will consolidate the facility’s operations into its other cultivation site in Battleford, Saskatchewan. The company says the sale and consolidation align with its focus on operational efficiency and long-term profitability.
According to Decibel CEO Ben Sze, this move is a proactive step to optimize the company’s operating footprint and support profitable growth. Sze added that Decibel’s cultivation capacity is well-aligned with demand, and this consolidation will strengthen its ability to support brand growth in Canada and its global export business.
Sze also said concentrating production into fewer, higher-utilized facilities will improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and strengthen the company’s cost structure. He thanked the Creston team for their contributions.
Decibel anticipates the transaction will generate $4 million in annual cost savings due to consolidation and have no impact on the company’s revenue outlook. They also expect the transaction to improve production efficiency through higher utilization across remaining assets and strengthen the company’s balance sheet.
The transaction is subject to standard closing conditions and is expected to close in April 2026.
Decibel is a consumer-focused cannabis company with brands including General Admission, Qwest, and Standard Issue. The company operates a processing and manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta; a cultivation facility in Battleford, Saskatchewan; and an EU GMP licensed cultivation and processing facility in Chatham, Ontario.
